Achos G9 Android Tablet Launches
The Archos G9 Android Tablet may not seem to be in the same league as the BlackBerry BlackPad or the Apple iPad but if your looking for a cheap Android Tablet then it may well be worth checking out.
Why? Mainly because they are pretty cheap with a good specification which from the top down begins with it’s Android Honeycomb 3.1 operating system. It comes with 250gb Seagate hard drive instead of flash storage which some may dislike.
There is the option of an 8 inch or 10 inch and the power for both comes from a 1.5GHz dual core processor and the two versions are priced at £199 for the 8 inch screen and £249 for the 10 inch version. The 8 inch Archos G9 has a 4:3, 1,024×768-pixel screen, while the 10 inch version has a 16:9, 1,280×800-pixel screen, with both offering HDMI output.
Both come with Wi-Fi and you can get 3G connectivity with an Archos 3G stick for an extra £50. They will liely arrive at UK retailers in September this year.
