[gulf times] Zain’s board has accepted a $10.7bn offer from India’s Bharti Airtel, to buy the Kuwaiti firm’s African assets excluding those in Sudan and Morocco, CNBC Arabia TV said. The Indian telecoms firm will pay Zain $10bn by mid-April, and the remaining $700mn will be paid before the end of the year, CNBC Arabia said yesterday.
